East Ayrlow Banks is a late 17th century longhouse which was extended in the 18th and 19th centuries to become the lovely farmhouse cottage it is today. Fully renovated and redecorated throughout by its owners in recent years, the house is a cosy and beautiful home-from-home escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It’s the perfect base camp for adventures in the great outdoors, whilst WiFi, Freesat TVs, table tennis and a host of games will keep you entertained indoors.

 

  • has a large eat-in kitchen with gorgeous flagstones, a range cooker, huge farmhouse table big enough to seat 10 comfortably, and widescreen TV with Freesat.  There are also separate utility and pantry areas.

  • provides additional seating, eating and reading spaces, and an additional log-burning fire.  A selection of books, games and DVDs can be found in the cubby hole for those rainy days and quiet evenings in.

It's the perfect place for families and large groups to get away from it all and for adventures in the great outdoors. With an off-the-beaten-track location, the house is still close to the market towns of Leyburn, Bedale and Richmond, with Catterick Garrison also close by.

Newly renovated and tastefully furnished the house has five bedrooms sleeping up to 10 adults, 2.5 bathrooms (including a downstairs loo), two reception rooms as well as a large eat-in kitchen with separate utility and pantry. WiFi, Freesat, books, games and a ping pong table mean plenty of entertainment for all ages!
